Arlington and Schoeller Arca launch the COMBO

Arlington Packaging, based in Pewsey in the UK, has become an authorised distributor of the COMBO, a returnable transit container manufactured by Schoeller Arca Systems (SA Systems).


Arlington Packaging, based in Pewsey in the UK, has become an authorised distributor of the COMBO, a returnable transit container manufactured by Schoeller Arca Systems (SA Systems).

The only product of its kind, COMBO is a plastic IBC that is used to transport and store liquids and pastes.

The product is a folding box made from food contact approved polypropylene. A flexible and disposable liner is placed inside the container and filled with liquid. After emptying the liner is removed and the container folded for return transport.

Hygienic, robust, and weighing less than 90kg, the COMBO is an alternative to other bag-in-box or IBC transport systems, and is suitable for pharmaceuticals and foods.

Arlington Packaging will rent or sell COMBOs. It also offers a valeting and repair service, carried out in its high- hygiene cleanroom. Containers are repaired and cleaned when returned after hire in order to avoid cross-contamination between industries.
