At the forefront
Manesty, the tablet press and coating machines manufacturer, has seen some major developments to its product portfolio recently. The Xpress tablet presses have features that the company says will deliver 'significant user benefits.' These include rapid product changeover, maximised product yield and material reconciliation, automatic rejection of deformed tablets, and a sophisticated Windows NT control system allowing compliance with FDA 21CFR Part 11.
Manesty's range of Accelacota tablet coaters have undergone a makeover, the most significant changes being the introduction of the M-tec Control System, which offers an inherent upgrade path for fully automated control with recipe-creating software where required. It is also fully compliant with the requirements of 21 CFR Part 11.
As standard, all new XL Cotas come with a manual version with integrated hardware and software controls. This facilitates control of the standard process set points and CIP (when fitted) via a touch screen.
