Atofina proceeds with reorganisation plans
Following the completion of employee consultation with regard to the reorganisation of the group's chemicals branch, Atofina has confirmed that the UK company will be split into two separate entities under this project with effect from 1 October.
Following the completion of employee consultation with regard to the reorganisation of the group's chemicals branch, Atofina has confirmed that the UK company will be split into two separate entities under this project with effect from 1 October.
Atofina UK's petrochemicals business (styrene, polystyrene, polyethylene and polypropylene) will be based at the existing Stalybridge head office under the continued management of David Gresham. The chlorochemicals, intermediates and performance products business (CIP) will be based in the Solihull region, where a new head office will be established under the management of Paul Jukes.
A new name for the CIP business will be announced at the time of the split.
