Bio-Chem Valve has developed the inert Bio-Chek in-line check valve that prevents unintended liquid backflow in high purity, low pressure fluid transfer applications and features a even flow path that reduces path complications. The zero-maintenance valve is available in an inlet or outlet configuration, and the valve provides a flow rate equivalent to a 0.76mm orifice and a cracking pressure less than 3.5 psi.

The company has also added a 250ml miniature solenoid pump to its range. It now produces self-priming micro pumps capable of outputs between 8ml and 250ml per dispense, providing OEM designers and manufacturers of scientific and medical instrumentation with compact, reliable and economical alternatives to peristaltic pumps, or pump and valve combinations.
