About galenIQ™
BENEO GmbH is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC). BENEO produces galenIQ™ (Isomalt Ph. Eur., BP, USP-NF, JP), which is a water-soluble filler and binder. Derived from sucrose, galenIQ™ has a sweetness and taste profile that is very similar to sucrose and therefore galenIQ™ is frequently used to improve the palatability of bitter-tasting active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and plant extracts.
