Better water throughput with Koch 10in cartridge

US-based Koch Membrane Systems is now offering its 10 ultrafiltration hollow fibre membrane cartridge, Targa, to the European market.


US-based Koch Membrane Systems is now offering its 10 ultrafiltration hollow fibre membrane cartridge, Targa, to the European market.

The 10in (254mm) diameter design provides 50% more effective membrane area per cartridge compared with its 8in predecessor, which results in improved performance.

Already widely used in water treatment applications across the US and Asia, the cartridge is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61. It can allow up to 50% reduction in floor space, which means lower building costs, a reduced number of skids and a reduction in installation costs.

The cartridges are suitable for a variety of applications, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, and provide quicker and more user-friendly connection.
