Steven Jacobs, president of Bilcare, said: 'This acquisition gives us the ability to fulfill global customers' needs, providing quality support that enables them to manufacture, package, test, store and distribute clinical supplies in the EU. It also provides DHP with the ability to do the same in the US and India, while adding a full range of analytical and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) capabilities to their clinical supply chain.'
Based in Powys, UK, DHP specialises in the manufacture, import, storage and distribution of phase I-IV Investigational Medicinal Products and named patient/compassionate-use medicinal prod-ucts.
DHP also provides GMP/GCP compliant services. Its clients include multinational pharmaceutical and biotech companies, Contract Research Organisations, publicly funded Medical Research Council (MRC) clinical research teams, and National Health Service (NHS) trusts and hospitals.
