BioCity supports business

Biocity Nottingham, the UK's largest bioscience incubation and innovation centre, recently unveiled its new business support network and meeting room facilities.

A network of some of the leading specialist business advisers in the industry have pledged their support for BioCity and the bioscience businesses in the East Midlands region of the UK.

The business advisory group will provide a range of services for bioscience businesses based in the East Midlands. These services include one-to-one, free of charge advice clinics‚ for business managers and also a symposia programme covering topics such as patents, legal issues, investment and business strategies.

Huw Edwards, business development director at BioCity said: 'Our ambition is to provide a world class infrastructure for bioscience businesses at BioCity and we are putting the building blocks in place to achieve this.
