BioProgress works well with Boots

BioProgress Technology and The Boots Company have extended their product development agreement, which was signed last October, to enable new product concepts to enter consumer trials. The agreement aimed to develop a range of innovative consumer products using BioProgress' XGel Film System encapsulation technology. 'The initial product development project with Boots has progressed extremely well,' said Graham Hind, md of BioProgress, 'and the new product concepts we have developed are now moving to the consumer acceptability trial phase.' BioProgress has also opened a manufacturing facility at Hostmoor, Cambridgeshire, for the final assembly, test and commission base for its range of XGel Film Systems.
