BOC Industrial has launched an online subscription-based safety service utilising the company's health and safety experience.


BOC Industrial has launched an online subscription-based safety service utilising the company's health and safety experience.

The website bocsafety.net will provide advice and information to help industrial operators meet legal compliance and provide a safer working environment.

BOC says the site will enable operators and managers to keep in touch with the law through guides to all relevant legal requirements. They will also be able to solve safety-related problems, and identify risks and unsafe practices in the workplace.

Key issues covered by the website are:

the safe use of gas and gas equipment;

safe storage of gas cylinders;

site safety;

risk assessment;

ventilation and temperature control;

transportation;

cryogenics;

working in confined spaces.

Subscription to the site costs £150 a year and is available on an annual basis only, with a one-off annual payment.
