Brecon expands its blister packing operations with Noack machine

Brecon Pharmaceuticals, the clinical trials and commercial packaging specialist, has increased its capacity with the installation of a £300,000 packaging line. The heart of the system is a Noack 623 blister packer, supplied by Romaco UK. The machine is now operating at Brecon's Hay-on-Wye, UK site, following completion of validation procedures.

The Noack 623 features a simple design and easy operation and changeover. It was conceived as the successor to the DPN 760 model, which has hundreds of installations around the world.

The 623 is a non-balcony machine, featuring a stainless steel cover over all open parts. The cover is angled at the front so that any debris falls clear. This design ensures compliance with cGMP while keeping manufacturing costs down.
