Calex sensor keeps its distance

Calex's Convir OS550 Series non-contact temperature sensor offers a choice of temperature ranges, viewing angles and analogue outputs to feed directly into panel meters, recorders, temperature/process controllers, data loggers, data acquisition systems and other process instrumentation.

Each sensor consists of a remote sensing head with optional laser sighting and a weatherproof display that transmits a current, voltage or millivolt output. It can measure temperatures from ;18°C to +1,371°C with an accuracy of ±1% and a response time of 250ms.
