Catalent, a leading provider of advanced dose form and packaging technologies, has welcomed a new recruit to its Red Lion Road facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Victor Dixon becomes the new vice president and general manager for the printed components business of Catalent's packaging services segment. There he will use his expertise in global sales and commercial planning to help grow the business.
He joins the organisation from Cortegra Group, a manufacturer of package inserts, labels and cartons for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, where he was president and ceo. He has ten years of experience at Alcoa, Inc. in positions of increasing responsibility.
The company's contract packaging division has been boosted with the appointment of Louise Evans as account manager.
She will be responsible for both the management of existing customer accounts and the identification of new business opportunities for further sales growth.
Evans has over 14 years industry experience, covering a variety of packaging materials and technologies with particular expertise in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. She joins Catalent after four years as business development manager with Brecon Pharmaceuticals, and prior to that held a variety of roles within Alcan Packaging.

And Brian McCarthy joins Catalent Pharma Solutions as vice president of business development at the printed components business of its packaging services segment. McCarthy will be based in Moorestown, New Jersey and comes to the company from Cortegra Group.
