Celltech lab scientist awarded grant

Published: 1-Apr-2004

Christine Prosser, a research scientist from UK biotech company Celltech, has been awarded the 'Science in Practice' research grant for 2003 by the organisers of the International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe exhibitions. The £1,500 grant is awarded for the purchase of products from any of the exhibiting companies at either event, and was open to practising life scientists who pre-registered for and attended either of last year's events.

'It's great that the event organisers recognise the contribution that life science laboratories and practising scientists make to the international economy,' said Prosser. 'My lab will certainly make good use of it.' This year's International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe event will be held on 16-17 November at Olympia, London.
