Chanelle Pharma has announced that it is entering a new strategic partnership with SAP SE to implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud (private edition) and SAP Business AI.
The initiative, said the company in a statement, represents a "major investment in building a modern, scalable digital foundation," which it believes will accelerate time-to-market for innovative medicines, enhance operational visibility and proactively strengthen data governance.
Chanelle Pharma currently exports to more than 90 countries and operates in Ireland, the UK, Portugal and Jordan, making it well-positioned for continued international growth.
To support this, the company said it is modernising its end-to-end operational value chain, establishing a robust digital core to enhance compliance with GxP regulations and modernising its finance, manufacturing and supply chain processes.
This initiative will be delivered as a single-phase programme, aiming for a go-live date in late 2026 and is a collaborative effort between Tenthpin and KaarTech.
The implementation strategy is designed in a strategic sequence. First, Chanelle Pharma will deploy SAP's ERP platform to create a "clean core" and harness SAP best practices. This initial step will facilitate the integration of advanced SAP Business AI capabilities.
Additionally, the transformation will take advantage of Tenthpin's sophisticated SAP Signavio processes, specifically optimised for CDMOs. This ensures a smooth and efficient implementation that maximises strategic value.
