Danish company Pharmexa has announced that Claus Braestrup, chairman of the board of directors, is to resign his position at an extraordinary general meeting to be held on 10 December.
Klaus Bock will stand down at the same time after six years on the board, and an additional two or three board members will be appointed, the company says.
Braestrup said: 'I have for some time considered leaving the position as chairman of the board of di-rectors during next year, but have in connection with the planned financing round in the first quarter of 2004 decided to clarify the future board composition. The recently published preliminary data from the HER-2 Protein AutoVac phase I trial forms a promising basis for the plans of a financing round in the spring.'
