Due to high demand, Chemspec Europe's exhibition space has been expanded twice in the run-up to the show, resulting in this year’s net floor space exceeding the 6,000m2 mark for the first time ever.
Chemspec Europe 2017 is Europe’s major sourcing and networking event for the fine and speciality chemicals industry.
Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Belgium and France are the major European exhibitor countries. Asian exhibitors mainly come from China and India. Companies from the USA will also be well represented.
Expanded conference programme
For the first time, the programme will include the conference “Innovative Start-ups: New Chemicals and Industrial Biotechnology” organised by BCNP Consultants.
On Thursday, 1 June, from 13:00–16:00, eight innovative chemistry start-ups and entrepreneurs will present new substances and new production routes in the fields of classical chemistry and industrial biotechnology.
On Wednesday, 31 May, from 11:30 to 12:30, Magid Abou-Gharbia, from the Moulder Center for Drug Discovery Research, will give a lecture on the topic “Drug Development in a Changing Environment: Current Challenges and Future Opportunities”.
The day before the official start of the exhibition, on Tuesday, 30 May, from 14:00–17:30, EFCG will return with “The Crop Protection and Fine Chemicals Forum”.
The remaining conference programme includes the Agrochemical Outlook Conference, sponsored by AGROW, and the Regulatory Services Conference, organised by REACHReady.
The two-day RSC Symposium, organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry, will offer presentations on “Continuous Flow Chemistry for Industrial Processes: Across Speciality and Fine Chemical Market Sectors”.
Show Preview
In this bilingual brochure (English and German), more than two hundred exhibiting companies provide a detailed overview of their products and services for this year’s exhibition.
The Show Preview also contains an exhibitor list, the detailed conference programme, general facts about the exhibition and important information for journeying and visiting.
It also includes specialised articles written by Marina Fuentes, Technical Advisor at REACHReady, entitled “REACHReady 2017: Regulatory Climate Chemspec”; and by Bruce Lane, Chair of the RSC Symposium, on the topic “Continuous flow chemistry in the speciality chemicals industry”.
