A new closure for blowmoulded plastic containers with a DIN 45 neck finish has been launched by Bericap UK, of Hull. Developed in response to customer demands, the SK 45/26 closure combines tamper-evidence with convenience and also offers a special insert to prevent glugging during dispensing in applications where controlled pouring is required. The pouring aid is ready fitted in the cap and remains in the container neck after capping.

Suitable for bottle sizes from 2-15l, the closure features a low opening torque and a user-friendly profile. The tamper-evident band is protected by a special extension to the cap skirt to prevent damage in transit, while an EPE washer, compatible with a wide range of neck tolerances, provides an effective seal to prevent leaks, the company says.
