The Council on Radionuclides and Radiopharmaceuticals (CORAR) is a US-based association for US and Canadian companies that manufacture, develop, and distribute radiopharmaceuticals, radionuclides, radiochemicals, and other radioactive products primarily used in medicine and life science research.

Activities of CORAR include:

• monitoring and participating in the legislative and regulatory process;

• maintaining contact with regulatory staff;

• developing the use of industrial standards to assure safe, reliable and high quality products;

• educating the public, and other medical trade groups on the benefits of radiopharmaceuticals;

• providing a forum for interests of the radionuclide and radiopharmaceutical industries.
