Croda Health Care has a new range of high purity drug delivery excipients designed specifically to enhance active and formulation stability in pharmaceutical applications.


Croda Health Care has a new range of high purity drug delivery excipients designed specifically to enhance active and formulation stability in pharmaceutical applications.

Manufactured using proprietary purification technology, the highly purified Super Refined PEG 300, 400 & 600 NF and Super Refined Oleic Acid NF have fewer polar impurities, such as peroxide species, aldehydes and ketones, thereby enhancing the stability of the drug and/or the vehicle itself.

Super Refining of PEGs also minimises the potential for gelatin cross-linking in gelatin capsules, which is caused by impurities found in some standard pharmaceutical grades of PEGs.

Super Refined Oleic Acid NF ensures formulations have greater stability and reduced potential for cellular (skin) irritation.
