ABB has been awarded a 10-year automation systems contract from the Dow Chemical Company to supply Dow plants with a new generation of ABB Industrial IT technologies to link operations and enhance productivity. ABB assigned a team of scientists, engineers and sales people to analyse and assess Dow's complex and hi-tech operations, eventually proposing and integrated solution for linking Dow's numerous plants.
