Among the equipment shown by Ytron-Quadro (UK) will be the Quadro S20 Sifter. This is a new concept in security screening technology with the ability to break down lumps at the same time.

The Quadro Sifter effectively segregates, retains and allows for easy removal of impurities and other foreign materials through its positive, 360° discharge. By pre-screening material before it enters downstream equipment, the sifter reduces the risk of contamination of final processed product, prevents damage to following equipment and injury to personnel caused by foreign material.

With an easy-to-clean, sanitary design, the sifter is said to reduce the amount of airborne dust compared with other vibratory sifters. Quick screen changes are facilitated by a minimal number of parts, while the stainless steel construction ensures durability and cleanliness. It can be supplied as an in-line unit for Bin-to-Bin operation or as a hand fed unit with an optional sack-tip feature.
