Easy, efficient and accurate dispensing

CSP, based in Laindon in the UK, has acquired a new supplier, San Diego Scientific Instruments, to expand further its range of quality instruments that support the pharmaceutical industry. CSP says it will provide the UK market with equipment specifically designed to dispense powders accurately and efficiently.

The San Diego 2300 Powder pipetter offers an efficient, accurate solution for powder filling applications. The adjustable volume pipetter is a simple solution to repetitive small volume powder filling applications. Suitable for small vials, 96 well plates, or other powder filling or dosing applications, the 2300 can fill from 0.0045 to 25g depending on the configuration. A small vacuum pump draws powder into the stainless steel pipette tip. A foot-operated switch reverses the airflow and the powder is gently ejected. The pipetter can be set precisely using its micrometer adjustment. A replaceable filter minimises cross contamination.
