Envirotainer, the global market leader in secure cold chain solutions for air transportation of pharmaceuticals, has announced 10 airlines around the world have approved its Releye RAP container.
Carriers across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East have authorised the container, including Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, EVA Air, Qatar Airlines, Saudi Airlines Cargo, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, TAP Air Portugal, Korean Airlines and Asiana Airlines. With these approvals, the company can support the industry in meeting the ever-growing need for large, temperature-controlled connected ULD solutions.
Designed to meet the strict requirements of pharmaceutical air freight, the container’s integrated live monitoring enables insight into product condition, location, and progress of the shipment. The company’s control tower service enables a global team of operators to follow a shipment’s every move, ready to respond to any critical event.
“We are extremely pleased to have 10 airline partners approve the new Releye® RAP container so far,” says Don Harrison, Head of Global Key Accounts, Airlines at Envirotainer. “They’re among the first to qualify the container for use on their fleets and will be able to offer medical shippers the very best in cold chain transportation.”
