Fisher Scientific, in collaboration with WasteCare, has launched a total laboratory waste management service.


Fisher Scientific, in collaboration with WasteCare, has launched a total laboratory waste management service.

Labcare is said to be the first service to offer an online quotation system providing personalised prices based on the type of waste and volume.

The service will collect, treat and recover all laboratory waste, including sharps, clinical waste, packaging, solvents, electrical equipment and laboratory smalls.

It also provides customers with regulatory support, online quotations, technical help, waste management solutions and free registration with the Environment Agency.

Labcare is fully compliant with the new Hazardous Waste Regulations that come into force in July.
