Hansen alliance to supply lactose

Chr Hansen and Foremost Farms USA have formed an alliance in which Chr Hansen will manage the sales, marketing, distribution and technical support for Foremost Farms's line of NFLactose for use as tablet excipients. Chr Hansen, which has international headquarters in Denmark and US headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a global biotechnology company that provides ingredients to a number of industries including pharmaceuticals.

David Carpenter, senior vp of sales and marketing for Chr Hansen, commented: 'Foremost Farms has expertise in the production of lactose, while we have expertise in the development, marketing, sales and technical support for compression agents for the pharma industry.'
