Hybrigenics wins a US$ 2.!m yeast two-hybrid contract

Bio-pharmaceutical company Hybrigenics is to provide expert protein interactions services to an US-based multinational life sciences company under a three-year deal worth US$ 2.1m (Euro 1.46m).

Under the agreement, Hybrigenics will build specific cDNA libraries from the living organisms of interest to the client company, perform yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) screens on demand, and compile exclusive bioinformatics databases of newly identified protein interactions.

The results will be visualised and exploited using Hybrigenics' bioinformatics tools, such as its PIM-Rider software. Hybrigenics is designating dedicated programme managers to ensure top priority completion of the Y2H screens requested by the client company
