The Informex '04 tradeshow opened 19 January in Las Vegas. The hall was crowded with both buyers and sellers fom the speciality-batch and custom chemical industry

'The show is a sign of good things ahead,' said Stuart Needleman, general manager, development services Rhodia Pharma Solutions and Informex '04 chairman. 'The record number of exhibitors and healthy attendance are indicators that the economy and our industry are on the up.'

Nearly 4,000 professional have registered to attend the show, which has found a new home at Las Vegas' Sands Expo Convention Centre.
