Xencor, the US-based company who develops protein and antibody therapeutics, has appointed Jade R. Brown to vice president of business development.
He brings to the position more than 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a business development executive leading high profile transactions both nationally and internationally.
Brown was most recently chief business officer at Cell Therapeutics where he led the company's business development, European affiliate, manufacturing, operations and marketing. Prior to that, he served as vice president of business development and marketing at Nastech Pharmaceuticals. For more than 12 years, he served at Eli Lilly, where he held various business development and commercialisation leadership positions.
