Johnsen & Jorgensen has launched a range of pouches in any size from 40g up to 5kg for shipping hazardous chemicals.

Manufactured in 2-4 ply laminates, the pouches can also include a thin inner layer of aluminium or nylon that provides high barrier properties for moisture-sensitive materials such as powders and granules. Other design features include a number of spouts, re-sealable press-close zips and handles, as well as stand-up or side-gusseted pouch options.

The pouches can be printed in up to eight colours using the gravure process, which Johnson & Jorgensen says allows good quality images to be reproduced for maximum impact.

Flat-packed, the pouches can be shipped in bulk for a fraction of the cost of conventional packaging materials.

Johnsen and Jorgensen's sales director, Jon Wear, said the pouches offer "enormous opportunities across many diverse industry applications".

Johnsen and Jorgensen is a leading UK supplier and developer of high quality packaging containers in a range of materials. It has offices in Dartford, Glasgow and Manchester.
