Following the acquisition of Synetix from ICI last November, Johnson Matthey has now brought the business together with its Chemicals division to form the Process Catalysts and Technologies business of Johnson Matthey, which will trade under the new brand name of Johnson Matthey Catalysts.
The company says the change brings together two businesses that have both enjoyed leading positions across the global catalyst market and have strong traditions of innovation. 'We are bringing together a unique breadth of experience in base and precious metal catalysis, technology and resources to add value to our customers' businesses,' said Larry Pentz, division director, process catalysts and technologies at Johnson Matthey Catalysts.
'The change is further reinforcement of Johnson Matthey's long-term commitment to strengthen its po-sition in catalysts and related technologies.'
