Laboratory bottles with tamper-evident caps

High quality laboratory bottles are essential for safe storage in the lab. But even the best bottles are unreliable without the right closure.

The comprehensive range of Duran laboratory bottles from Schott has added tamper-evident closures with the common ISO GL 45 screw thread to its range of blue lidded bottles. The screw caps are made of polypropylene (PP) and the standard version is blue with a red ring. After initial opening the caps can continue to be used on the bottle, while the detached tamper-evident ring indicates that the contents have been accessed. For secure storage of the bottle contents, they have a lip gasket and are autoclavable to 140°C.
