Lock's detectors are designed for quality control and inspection at all points of the production line. The firm's MET 30+ range of metal detectors are its most sensitive and aimed at the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, and are capable of detecting and rejecting microscopic foreign bodies at speed of up to 30,000 tablets per minute.

The units can be supplied with touch-screen interfaces using Lock's ADC software, and technical representatives will be available at the company's stand to demonstrate software for compliance with CFR 21 Part 11 in the pharmaceutical industry.

Since its launch, Lock claim, there has been considerable interest worldwide for its ADC software, which can be offered bespoke to clients.
