Logopak earns its wings with HIBC print

Barnstable, UK-based EDL has installed new production lines into two of its new plants. The new logopak 'print & apply' labelling systems are being supplied to compliment the new higher throughput production lines.

Both machines were purchased to apply a health industry bar code (HIBC) and human readable information, which had to be printed and applied, in realtime, to a fully packaged product at its exit fro case sealing equipment, at labelling speeds of up to 12 per minute.

Due to the pharmaceutical manufacturers' requirements to fit th new 'print & apply' labellers into a limited space, Logopak was asked to manufacture a small footprint. The machine, th 901T and the V90s is 270mm x 300mm and 800mm high.
