Malvern extends contract services for the pharmaceutical industry

Malvern Instruments, a leading supplier of analytical solutions for particle characterization and rheological applications, has extended its provision of contract testing services for the pharmaceutical industry following the conclusion of an agreement with Particle Analytical, Hoersholm, Denmark.


Malvern Instruments, a leading supplier of analytical solutions for particle characterization and rheological applications, has extended its provision of contract testing services for the pharmaceutical industry following the conclusion of an agreement with Particle Analytical, Hoersholm, Denmark.

The agreement covers contract services projects for Malvern's pharmaceutical customers in the Nordic region and across northern Europe. These will continue to be initiated, managed and co-ordinated by Malvern's in-house teams, but the testing itself will be carried out by Particle Analytical.

Particle Analytical is an established laboratory that specializes in particle analysis, including method development and validation for the pharmaceutical industry, with all work carried out to cGMP standards.

Jane Bishop, commercial director at Malvern said: 'Malvern's contract services are well established. We are delighted to welcome Particle Analytical as a partner in a move that will enable us to provide unprecedented levels of service to pharmaceutical customers in the Nordic region and across northern Europe.'
