Management led buyout at Kemutec

The Kemutec management team has created Kemutec Powder Technologies Ltd.

The new company, formed by a management led buyout in conjunction with external financial backing, has acquired the facilities, employees, intellectual property, brand names and product range of Kemutec Group Ltd.

As one of the largest names in the powder processing industry, Kemutec's range of turnkey systems, and powder processing and handling equipment are seen to be of high quality, performance and reliability. Maintaining the product names of Kek, Gardner and Mucon, the fundamental essence of the Kemutec brand will be retained and developed under Kemutec Powder Technologies.

John Cook, managing director of Kemutec, summed up the venture by saying: 'this is a massive vote of confidence in the future of the company, which will allow Kemutec to drive forward. The management team and employees are enthusiastic about the future, and see the acquisition as a great opportunity to focus the business and achieve growth in our target markets.'
