Manchester Organics Limited (MOL), a leader in fluorination technology and part of Navin Fluorine International Limited, India (NFIL), has appointed Jordi Robinson as global head of technical sales with immediate effect.
MOL says the newly created position reflects the company’s ambitious growth targets for the coming year and is also a sign of how it has grown since its founding in 1996 to become one of the leading players in the field of specialist organo-fluorine chemistry.
Robinson will be responsible for developing all aspects of MOL’s business, including its catalogue, which offers more than 17,000 building blocks and intermediates, and its custom synthesis business, which builds on the company’s strong expertise in fluorination, hydrogenation and carbonylation chemistry to offer both fee for product and FTE services, as well as identifying and developing opportunities for further scale-up at MOL’s parent company NFIL.
Robinson joins MOL from Endeavour Speciality Chemicals, where he had been in charge of sales and marketing for the company’s intermediates division since 2008.
‘Jordi brings energy, experience and a new perspective to our business and we are thrilled to have him join our team,’ said MOL director, David Tovell. ‘He is very experienced in developing new projects with the potential for scale-up, which is something that has attained greater significance since our takeover by Navin Fluorine.’
