Materials testing to a T

Redhill-based Hounsfield Test Equipment, has developed a range of tension and compression materials testing machines.

The T-series has been developed to meet the requirements of research or QC engineers operating in laboratory and factory environments.

The range consists of five models, from the portable H1K-T with a load frame capacity of 1kN to the bench-mounted or floor-standing H50K-T for force testing in capacities of up to 50kN.

The competitively priced equipment has a guaranteed force accuracy of 0.05% of the applied force, extension resolution of 0.0001mm and speed accuracy of 0.005%.

The T-Series is compatible with more than 1,000 test specimen holders, grippers and attachments, enabling the machines to perform more than 1,300 certified and traceable mechanical and physical tests across a broad range of materials.
