MBO set to take place at Krauss-Maffei

Krauss-Maffei is to take part in a management buyout and undergo an identity change. The company is being bought out by its executives and will trade as Krauss-Maffei Process Technology instead of Krauss-Maffei Verfahrenstechnik. The deal includes the company's offices in Munich, as well as its site in Warrington, UK and operations in France, US and Italy.

It is estimated that the resulting company will employ 310 people and will have a sales turnover of around €53m around the globe. Through the buyout, the company hopes it can react with greater flexibility to market demands.
