According to the company, these are capable of very high speed control of extremely small quantities, axial flow, and small valve size and mass. With a diameter of 0.22 inches and a weight of 0.2g, the valves are also said to have a long life in excess of 200m cycles, depending on application.

Their ultra compact size enables them to be placed directly over individual well centres of standard 96 well microtitre plates.
