Voyager is the newest addition to CEM's Discover family of products, and offers a flow-through system for rapidly synthesising larger quantities of compounds for laboratory scale-up. Capable of synthesising mg to kg quantities of material quickly and easily, Voyager is the first system to offer a platform that addresses the needs of process chemists to incorporate microwaves into a scale-up process.

As part of the Discover family of microwave synthesis instrumentation, pressurised and atmospheric reactions for manual or batch processing may also be performed in the Voyager system in minutes.

Methods developed on Discover or Explorer systems transfer directly to Voyager, allowing for scale-up without the need for long process optimisation. These include synthesising mg to kg quantities, manual or batch processing, and performing atmospheric or pressurised reactions
