The tiny Principality of Monaco has agreed to introduce European Union rules on pharmaceutical production and marketing in its 1.95km2 national territory.
The agreement, which also covers cosmetics, is the first of its kind between the EU and Monaco and was struck to enable Monegasque manufacturers to sell their products across Europe.
