New directory from the ABPI

A new directory listing contacts for patient organisations throughout the UK has been published by the ABPI. The Patient Group Press Directory has 156 organisations listed, ranging from cancer care to mental health. According to Dr Trevor Jones, director general of the ABPI, 'Keeping patients' interests at the centre of the health service is crucial to an effective health system. The UK-based pharmaceutical industry has long believed that the voice of patients should be heard in the healthcare arena.'
