New generation evaporation lines
Buechi Labortechnik has launched a new generation of complete laboratory rotary evaporation systems that remove the need for a vacuum source and control separate from the basic unit.
The V-850/855 vacuum controller is attached at the top of the rotary evaporator and controls the speed of the V-700 vacuum pump, providing a precise and hysteresis-free pressure with very low noise emissions. An alternative vacuum module, the EasyVac, offers a new way to perform automatic distillations based upon vapour pressure detection. Thus, no process parameters have to be adjusted.
Buechi's new Rotavapors, vacuum pumps and vacuum controllers all link together via an RS-485 serial bus, providing an overall communications network. All process-relevant data can also be outputted to a computer via the USB-port.
The system can be completed with the B-741 self-contained distillation chiller, which has a fixed temperature of 10°C.
