New line in label production

Toiletries and healthcare label manufacturer Multiprint Labels has commissioned a multi-colour combination UV flexographic and screen printing line to meet increasing demand from managers for high impact packaging with maximum shelf appeal.

The Gallus Arsoma EM 410 UV machine is Multiprint Labels' ninth multi-colour self adhesive label production line and the second to be equipped with ten print stations as well as both rotary and flat-bed die-cutting facilities.

Its installation follows the purchase earlier this year of a New Foil 5500 off-line foiling and embossing press and comes just six months after the opening of a new £3m production centre and headquarters.

With eight UV flexo and two screen print stations, plus the latest quick change technology, the 16-inch Arsoma line is both versatile and productive. Its automatic register control helps ensure consistency of quality.
