Traceable sample storage company Micronic has launched the Tracker TRxD coded tube reader.


Traceable sample storage company Micronic has launched the Tracker TRxD coded tube reader.

Micronic, based in the Netherlands, claim that the new reader provides users with the flexibility of building upon investments already made, whilst accessing the benefits of a new product, due to the unit's direct compatibility with existing industry standards.

The system is the only tube reader currently on the market that can read both 2D Data Matrix codes and 1D linear bar codes, and can read a single code in less than 0.5 seconds.

Micronic's TRxD reader is connected via USB onto any Windows platform, where data can be exported to another software application if necessary.
