Littlehampton-based Pump Engineering has introduced the Pageboy SFD15 self-priming diaphragm pump, which is said to be ideally suited for pumping aggressive or corrosive liquids, such as solvents and strong acids. It is typically used for pumping solvents used in tablet/drug production.

The pump is designed for vertical upward flow and has a maximum output of 3l/min and maximum pressure of 6 bar. Air supply required is 80-100psi and air consumption is 0.5 cfm. An important feature is a stress-free diaphragm, which plays an important part in the pump's reliability.
