New Thermo analyser offers continuous process monitoring

Spectroscopy specialist Thermo Electron has launched an FT-NIR system designed to improve the efficiency and quality of manufacturing or quality control processes by moving analysis from the laboratory or at-line testing to continuous process monitoring.

The Nicolet Antaris FT-NIR Multiplexer system allows remote monitoring of up to 12 sampling points throughout the manufacturing facility without the labour requirement associated with traditional sampling methods. Multiple sample types can be handled, including solids, powders and liquids, while compatibility with leading fibre optic probes makes a wide range of diffuse reflection, transflection, and transmission sample interfaces available for almost any sample process.
