New UK bioscience hub set up in the Midlands
A new bioscience business hub is to be launched this month in the East Midlands, UK, to promote the region's extensive bioscience research and technical innovation capabilities to international markets.
The East Midlands Bioscience Knowledge Exchange. Initiative - BioKneX for short - is a collaboration between Nottinghan Trent University, the University of Nottingham, the University of Leicester and BioCity Nottingham, a healthcare and bioscience innovation and incubation centre.
Headed up by Steve Beasley, BioKneX is being funded by academia and the UK's East Midlands Development Agency and will be the primary hub for bioscience knowledge exchange in the region.
