Flowserve opens training centre in Italy
Adds to global network of Learning Resource Centres
Flowserve, a US valve and pump producer, has opened a training centre in Desio, Italy to offer plant engineers, operators and maintenance technicians a combination of hands-on training and operational theory for pump, seal and valve equipment and systems.
This Italian centre expands Flowserve’s global network of Learning Resource Centres in Irving, Texas, US; Suzhou, China; Tlaxcala, Mexico; Sao Caetano, Brazil; and Singapore.
The new facility is equipped a technologically equipped classroom that hosts 24 students; static/power lab equipped with modern process equipment; and a test loop and control room for system experimentation.
Among the upcoming courses available at the Desio centre are: centrifugal pump and mechanical seal fundamentals, pump and mechanical seal principles, pump system analysis, root cause analysis, pump and seal operator training, and pump and mechanical seal basics.
In addition to its standard courses, Flowserve Educational Services provides customised on-site training at customer locations or at any of its global Learning Resource Centres.
